The app has no servers, no database and no analytics. It does not collect personal data, usage statistics, diagnostics or any other information about you or the people who view your pages.
To display a diagram, the app has to read it. When somebody opens a page with the macro, the app requests the SVG attachment of that page from Confluence, using the permissions of the person viewing the page, and renders it in the browser with the links inside it left intact.
To turn a link into a working one, the app may ask Confluence to resolve the page it points at, again as the current user. Nothing about the diagram, the page or the reader is sent anywhere outside your Confluence site: the app has no server for it to go to.
Nothing is cached or kept between visits. Close the page and the data is gone from memory.
Entirely on Atlassian infrastructure. The app carries the Runs on Atlassian badge, which means Atlassian verifies that it does not send data to any external service. There is no third-party hosting, no external API and no outbound network request of any kind.
The macro settings you choose, such as which attachment to show and how it is sized, are stored by Confluence as part of the macro on your page. They stay in your site. The app keeps no settings of its own, neither on a server of ours nor in your browser.
Since the app stores no data of its own, data residency requirements are met automatically: your content never leaves the location where Atlassian stores it.
There is nothing to request access to or to delete, because nothing is held. Uninstalling the app removes it completely; your attachments and pages stay untouched.

The app runs inside Atlassian's sandbox and reaches no network except your own Confluence site. Every request is made with the permissions of the person viewing the page, so the app can never reveal a diagram or a page that person could not already open. Scripts and event handlers found inside an SVG file are stripped before it is rendered, so an uploaded diagram cannot execute code on your page.
