What is the difference from Table Export?

Lite exports one table at a time. The full Table Export also exports every table on a page at once and every table in a space into a single Excel workbook.

Does my data leave Confluence?

No. The table is read and converted inside your browser, and the app runs on Atlassian infrastructure with no server of its own.

Table Export Lite for Confluence

Free. Export any table on a Confluence page to CSV or Excel, one table at a time.

Confluence Cloud exports whole pages to PDF and Word, but it has no export for a single table. Copy and paste works until a table has merged cells; then the columns drift and the numbers stop lining up. Table Export Lite takes a table out properly, and it is free.

Getting started

Edit the page, type /Table Export Lite and pick the macro.
Publish. Every table on the page appears in a list, with its size.
Press CSV, Excel or Copy next to the table you need.

The macro can sit anywhere on the page: it finds tables above and below itself. A good spot is the very bottom, out of the way of readers.

Comma or semicolon

Pick the separator above the list. Use the semicolon if your Excel treats the comma as a decimal mark, which is the default in most of Europe and Latin America and the reason exported files sometimes land all in one column.

Merged cells do not break the file

A cell spanning two columns leaves a hole in a naive export, and every column to its right shifts left. The app unrolls merged cells: the value is repeated in every cell it covered, so each row has the same number of columns and the data lines up.

Where your data goes

Nowhere. The app reads the page with your own Confluence permissions, builds the file inside your browser and hands it to you. It has no server, no database and no analytics, and it runs on Atlassian infrastructure. Details in the privacy policy.

If you export a table now and then, Lite is all you need. If exports are a recurring job across many pages, the full Table Export collects them in one go.
